An Introduction…
I’ve been writing about football for as long as I remember & this has included scouting/tactical work provided to the Iran national team in their successful World Cup Qualifying campaign for Germany 2006. I will be trying to provide a well-rounded & what I hope will be an alternative style of editorials/blogs on a variety of everyday football topics here. From the Premier League, to an emerging player, to predicting ups & downs, I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I am sure I will enjoy writing about them.
As the title suggest, I want to look at the deeper issues that create the headlines & stories in the world of football. We all see the same matches, the same players, results, draws, transfers, but most of the time, there is much more to analyze than just what is at the surface picked up by the eyes.
Your comments & feedback on topics, editorials, discussions, & anything else are welcome.

I agree. Puyol silenced Ronaldo the whole game. Mourinho has yet to crack the Barca code
your blogs are nice but tooo much barca biased. try to be in the center take no sides.. no real no barca. I do not like or hate both but I feel Barca is really ruining their name and class by dives and cheats. Don’t defend it by saying “luck” and don’t compare it with other clubs. The show of Alves, Sergio, Messi, Pedro, Pique, Xavi, Cesc and some others too.. they should grow and stay on their feet. They should not start diving like Micheal Phelps. So in Madrid but they lack good phelps. It is side talk but please don’t take a side and write.. be in center. You are writing like you are writing on offical barca drama school
Not sure what your post refers to. This isnt a Barcelona blog although certain articles have been about them largely as there have been topics worth discussing. Credit is given to Real Madrid when due and criticism dished out when due too.
Thanks for taking the time to read things.
